PocketPairs ("the App") is a card matching game developed by Moritz Kobrna ("we", "us"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
The App collects minimal data, only when you use the online multiplayer feature:
The data listed above is transmitted to our server exclusively for online matchmaking — to find opponents and manage active game sessions. This data exists only in server memory during an active session and is not stored persistently. When you close the App or a session ends, the data is discarded.
The App offers optional one-time in-app purchases (e.g. online play time). These are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and are tied to your Apple ID. We do not receive or store any payment information, billing details, or Apple ID data. Purchase history and restoration are handled by Apple under their own privacy policy.
Game statistics, settings, unlocked card sets, and purchase status are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device unless you use the online multiplayer feature as described above.
The App may use standard Apple crash reporting (provided by Apple as part of iOS). This is handled entirely by Apple under their own privacy policy and is not accessible to us in a personally identifiable form.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no account creation is required and no persistent personal data is collected, the App is suitable for users of all ages.
Our website (pocketpairs.app) is a static page. It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking scripts, or any form of data collection.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
